CODY MUSIC is built to stay light. There are no traditional accounts, and there are no advertising trackers.

Anonymous visitor identifier

When you comment or start playback, the site may set an HttpOnly cookie with a random anonymous token. Only a SHA-256 hash of that token is stored in the database. Clearing cookies creates a new anonymous identity.

Comments

Comments store your chosen display name, comment text, timestamps, and hashed network / browser signals used for abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are not stored. You may post one active comment per song.

Anti-abuse

Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits, honeypot fields, and server-side validation help reduce spam. Blocked visitors cannot post.
